PowerAccess 2.5 offers radical improvements for both the standard and custom version. Many new features have been implemented to make PowerAccess even easier to use and more configurable to fit your needs - click on any image on this page to view an enlarged version. New features added include:

• Users can preview go through file lists while off-line and mark files for later retrieval.
• Personal Download/Upload directories for each individual user!!!
• Graphics/Sounds are updated on the fly when new PowerGen screens are loaded. User may abort the download of these, and continue, aka AOL/Netscape.
• C:\Powracc\BBS.BMP shown for customized tiled background in PowerAccess. In addition, each individual bbs may have their own BBS.BMP!
• Added slick logon window, allowing for quick BBS selection, modem/tcp calling option, and finally quickly sign on or update other BBS specific information!

• Custom PowerAccess may now be installed into a custom Group on the desktop.

• Fixed problem with "View Text File" Menu Item not locating correct file once a BBS is dialed.
• Minimize button no longer disappearing in PowerAccess running under Windows95.
• Fixed problem with using "File" button to download a file enclosure from an RTF message while on-line.
• File Attachments that are already on the server computer, are now more intelligently renamed (instead of the old FE# renaming scheme)
• Fixed problem with random GPFs upon closing a screen with an RTF file on it.
• When searching for files, PowerBBS now looks at the file-date of the actual file list on disk, and will skip files if the start search date is later than the date of the file.

User can now choice between local and long distance phone number when installing customized PowerAccess! Also, user can add a 3rd option (in case your area may need separate definitions, such as Local with Area Code, you give the text and phone number)

Plus, for a totally customized PowerAccess, you can modify over 490 internal message dialogs and prompts displayed to the caller! Change anything inside the quotes in the list below. Your new custom dialog will be displayed to the caller instead of the standard PowerAccess messages. You can even modify this file and place into your PGPICS directory *without* having to purchase a custom PowerAccess!
